The Scientific Method
1. We use science to check if something is the truth. But it is not enough when just one person will prove something is a fact. To do that we need another person who will check the same thing. Only then we can prove that what we checked earlier is the truth. Summarizing we can scientifically prove that something is a fact only when two people will check it.
2. In ancient times people created gods, supernatural creatures and magic to explain things like changing weather, luck or life and death. I think that now people believe in such things because they don't want the world to be based only on science. I guess that we want to think that our lives are control by something bigger (something that has much more power than anything) or mystic.

Ad. 1 - Two people testing one fact is not enough.
OdpowiedzUsuńYou need a hypothesis to be tested by someone who wants to prove it WRONG. And if many people do tests to prove that something is not true and they all fail, then we can assume that this thing is a fact.
