classes online vs classes in school

               Since the covid pandemic has started we had to learn how to study in a new way. We used apps like zoom or teams for our school classes. Even now when we can meet in person some extra classes are still organised this way.

Personally, I don’t like studying online. I think that studying at school has more advantages for me. I prefer lessons that are face to face with other students and teachers. I feel much more natural learning about new things at school. When I attended classes online I noticed that my concentration decreased. I simply was distracted by things in my room: my phone, books or things that wouldn’t usually focus my attention. I don’t have this problem at school. My motivation also dropped while we had online classes. I woke up right before lessons and didn’t do anything productive after their end. Now I feel the duty to do things not only for school but also outside of it. I’m much more productive. I think that I didn’t like online classes because I let people that I normally wouldn’t into my room and my personal space. They were tiring because I couldn’t divide school from home anymore. I think that this is the main reason why I like studying at school much more.

 The article which I read today was written by Peter Rutland. This text is about a significant change in the everyday life of ordinary Russians caused by sanctions. While I understand that all of those limits imposed on Russia are meant to end the war as fast as possible I keep thinking about a common person from Russia facing them. It is obvious that if the country’s economy collapses standard of living there also changes dramatically. Prices are soaring and everyday life isn’t getting harder for individuals but also for all kinds of businesses. I feel pity for those people, mainly because I would be scared if I were in their position. But we have to remember the purpose of sanctions.  Although Russia’s citizens didn’t really hurt anyone they have to feel a change to start protesting and putting pressure on authorities to stop military operations.                   The artic le which I have just read was written by Nicholas R. Longrich and is an answer for reader’s question about humans future.                 The author of this text presents his speculations about our future evolution. I can fully agree that our life expectancy will expand through the time. As we invent more medications and cure more diseases we can expect to live longer. Although the assumption of people getting taller surprised me, I understand that given our rising length of life we will grow higher. John Keats's poems of death and los youth

  Recently I read an article titled "John Keats: how his poems of death and lost youth are resonating during COVID-19" by Richard Marggraf-Turley. The text was mainly about the life and works of this artist, but a lot can be concluded from it. Keats, practically all his life, was a witness of death, mental illnesses, and suffering. He reflected it in his works. And even after 200 years, they are more current than ever. Everybody can now experience emotions about which John Keats wrote. In times of pandemic, especially people my age, are losing their youth and time to experience new things. Quarantine also isn't a stranger to us and the poet.  I think that we can agree with Keats that it is affecting us in a bad way. We, as he said in his letters, are feeling depressed.
