notes on a phone and notes on paper

Our society is very technologically advanced. Phones replaced almost every additional device like a calculator, flashlight, clock or notepad. I think that there is a big difference in our response to each of these devices and their equivalents on our phones.

I am mainly talking about notepads on phones and comparing them to those traditional ones. I noticed that I tend to remember things written on a piece of paper better than the ones written in notes on my phone. I often don’t remember about my planned tasks and information from lessons because I typed them down on my mobile. When I asked my friends about their thoughts they realized that it is easier for them to remember information from their notepads rather than from their phones. It may have something to do with our muscle memory. I presume that when people write something down their brains “remember” the motion and connect it to the information.
