The text that I read recently was written by Maha Rafi Atal and Lisa Ann Richey. This article was about how during the pandemic all kinds of companies used the situation to their advantage. It is really amazing and concerning at the same time, how advertisements can change in a matter of days to suit the situation. When COVID-19 had just begun to spread many businesses converted their marketing strategy. It was based on three different impacts of the pandemic and was a clever way to attract more and more new customers. By using human's emotional responses companies were able to influence people easier and as a result, sell more of their products. Additionally, I think that it is interesting that all ads from the pandemic's period are very similar.
